Are we throwing out our freedom?

I just read a very interesting article by Danny Goldberg that should be read as a call to action by thoughtful citizens everywhere.  Instead of wringing our hands at the continual outrageous lies blasting through the airwaves by the likes of Tea Party advocates and Carl Rove puppets, we need to step up to the challenge.  Stand up for reasoned discussion and a search for truth.  We may have to couch truth ala Jim Stewart in humor but that's OK.  However, let's take one more step and instead of just poking fun at the absurdity of the Tea Party, point out why these statements and fear mongering are not true.  Let's bring reasoned dialogue back to the table.  How I miss Bill Moyers.
